Volunteerism and participation

In this section we have collected publications studying what motivates people to volunteer, collaborative relations between voluntary organisations commercial actors and how volunteering and «social capital» relate to one another.

A significant proportion of the research on this field deals with the scope of the unpaid work whilst other projects look at the collaboration between professionals/commercial enterprises/public administration on one side and the voluntary organsiatoins on the other side.
