Voluntary organisations' volume, scope and membership numbers

In this section we have collected publications with primarily statstical information on voluntary organisations. We have also included comparative studies which compary organisations across various countries.

The most contemporary comprehensive study can be found in 'Theoru' from the international Johns Hopkins Comparative Nonprofit Sector Project which also contains Norwegian data. Statistics can also be found in publications listed under other headings in this bibliography. Information regarding the volume and scope of voluntary unwaged voluntary work can also be found in "Self help and self-organisation".
